Potential of Visual Communication in Medium of Learning

Mariam Tevzadze

Mariam Tevzadze's design for a series of history school book handouts is based on numerous scientific researches related mainly to human cognition, and human memory work. The project POTENTIAL OF VISUAL COMMUNICATION IN MEDIUM OF LEARNING shows one way of how design can be applied in order to enhance and help students to learn.

Mariam Tevzadze

I am soon to be graphic designer with diploma.

Where do you see yourself in 20 years?

Good question, but I am not sure.

What is a good design for you?

Good design for me is something that at most is inspiring and at least worth of attention.

What was the most challenging experience during your studies?

Covid and having additional student job.

Who or what inspires you?

Simple, people.

How do you approach a new project?

First thing would be to gather information and understand the subject in depth. Later all this information creatively works itself out.

What advice would you give to students who just started studying in your programme?

Don't worry it's going to get better.

Have you changed during your studies? How?

I have become more organised and started to value time more. I also learned how designer should think, which I think is pretty major.

Why did you choose to study in your programme?

I generally from childhood I was exposed to creative environment, fine artists, directors, architects and writers were all around in my family circle. So it somehow felt natural to choose this particular program.

What are you not going to miss in your studies?

Student life, likeminded and friendly people. Generally I am sad that one of the milestones of my life is coming to an end.

How are you going to celebrate your graduation?

WINEEE!! REST!!!

Say hi!
