What brings you here?

WHAT BRINGS YOU HERE? is my personal artistic and photographic project that revolves around the question, What brings you here? This question, frequently posed in Berlin, prompted me to honestly revisit why I chose to leave Seoul for Berlin and the reasons for my return.

The core concept during this journey is the 'in-between' space inspired by the theory of cultural hybridity from Homi K. Bhabha. This space became the core of my quest to discover and understand myself.

I aimed to create an imaginative third space based on my personal, raw, unfiltered fragments of my experiences in both Seoul and Berlin. This project shares the experiences to explore what exists between the two cities.
