More Than Six Pictures On a Wall [Best-of-Prize]

Space and time are closely connected when it comes to storytelling. This work will explore a new way of portraying these two topics, using space as a timeline to tell the Finnish creation story as it is told in the Kalevala. Six reprojected linocuts will tell this story in a multi-media installation. This will allow the viewer to walk through the story itself and define their own point of view, while being able to look in the future ahead of them and review the past behind them.
