Extensive research and numerous projects have explored the aesthetics of carpets, but this crucial layer of the lived experience of rugs has remained locked away. sets of images representing moments in life on rugs have been fed into an AI, creating a dataset that reveals a mosaic of thousands of events that could have occurred on these rugs, in the form of a Persian Carpet.
