Social media campaign “Bring Nature Home”

Stanisław Pokorski

For every fashion brand, it is crucial to have a coherent and customer-centric online presence. With the rising importance of social media, brands focus on bringing valuable content to their followers on social platforms, either through teaching or entertaining.
The social media campaign BRING NATURE HOME for the young sustainable German fashion brand Achahha has the goal to entertain users through virtual contact to nature, since many people are not able to experience it themselves due to the lockdown situation in Germany. The whole campaign takes place on the social media channel of Achahha making use of features like filters and posts.

Visually creating understanding. With the use of the right techniques, colour combinations, and shapes we are able to tell beautiful stories. Through understanding the fundamental knowledge of design and the visual world creating stories has become a natural part of me. My way of telling stories is on an emotional level. I strongly believe emotions make us who we are and it is our responsibility to understand them.

What is a good design for you?

Good design for me awakes emotions. Emotions that you want the viewer to feel. This means, for me, good design is not only about the skill of making something look good, but also about pouring emotions into it.

What was the most challenging experience during your studies?

At first, the most challenging experience was to create process books at the end of every semester. After the first few, I started to like them a lot. Now, it is clear to me how important and valuable they are.

Who or what inspires you?

I see inspiration all around me. It is not a question of a person or location for me, it is the question of how open-minded one is walking through life. Being aware of what is around, listing to people carefully, even if they have a different perspective. Analyzing and understanding these small things brings new ideas, new design, and new perspectives.

How do you approach a new project?

For every project, I start with an understanding of the idea. From there my focus switches to research, where I dig deeper to have an even more clear picture of the challenge and how I want to approach it.

What advice would you give to students who just started studying in your programme?

My advice would be to stay open-minded. As in every new chapter in our lives, there are parts we love and parts we hate. Being open-minded enables us to get the most out of classes and grow not only as a professional but also as a human being.

Have you changed during your studies? How?

Yes. I have become more sensitive to good and bad design. Because of the studies, my way of walking through life has changed as well. Anywhere I am I analyze the visual elements in almost everything. By doing that, I also try to understand the message and thoughts behind the visual execution.

Why did you choose to study in your programme?

The choice for the communication design programme came from my interest in art. I was curious to learn the skill behind it and to develop it.

How are you going to celebrate your graduation?

I will close that chapter in my life with a number of amazing memories, growth, and opportunities for life. My graduation will be a phase of closing one chapter and starting a new one which I am enormously excited about.

Say hi!
