The mobile app SPACE, by Norhane Helmy, helps the user to escape their physical environment by getting lost and spacing out, while using the application. Various practices are offered that exert the creative brain in a fun and user-friendly way.

I'm an Egyptian artist based in Berlin. Besides studying communication design, I make candles and art with wax.
What is a good design for you?
A design that offers something new and connects to the target audience on a personal level.
What was the most challenging experience during your studies?
Writing the bachelor thesis.
Who or what inspires you?
I get inspired the most by the city I live in. The sounds, the people, the rhythm, etc.
How do you approach a new project?
I usually like to take my time in the brainstorming phase. Once the concept is set, everything falls into place.
What advice would you give to students who just started studying in your programme?
Check out the library, an interesting collection!
Have you changed during your studies? How?
Yes. I think all the projects I worked on during my studies helped me develop my own Design style
How are you going to celebrate your graduation?
At home with my friends.
