First-hand Personalization

Maria Antonia Arredondo Alzate

By allowing the user to experience FIRST-HAND PERSONALIZATION, this interactive installation has been designed to demonstrate one of the main reasons why services collect data. As the user interacts with the lights, data will be collected and then used to produce a personalized light show. This reflects the data collected when users interact with any digital service that, in turn, threatens the users’ belief in the right to a private life.
