Objectify Me

Leonie Sophia Kreitz

Misogyny and objectification have been present in society throughout history—from the hunting of so-called witches to women’s bodies being used to advertize products. Women have been portrayed as the inferior sex through classic stereotypes such as the damsel in distress or the over-sexualized enemy using her femininity to defeat the white muscular protagonist. My Game Objects highlights the absurdity of this objectification in art and video games and questions the use of armour in gaming.
