The Art of Disguise

Esra Eylem Erdugan

Greenwashing is a recent phenomenon that has picked up due to the fact that marketing products as sustainable and environmentally friendly boosts sales. Companies don't shy away from promoting a false impression of their products or image by using green packaging and logos down to adding misleading and euphemistic phrasing that distract from the real manufacturing processes. THE ART OF DISGUISE by Esra Erdugan visualizes this phenomenon through a poster series made with collage art, providing a provocative perspective that enables the viewer to look behind the greenwashed facade.
