UNFOLD

Chiara Pozzoli

UNFOLD by Chiara Pozzoli is an information security web platform that provides companies with technical and organizational security measures catered to their needs. The application targets the inefficient requirement that companies are legally obliged to implement an information security management system that needs constant update. UNFOLD offers a practical tool combined with bespoke training that creates and updates Cyber Security policies of companies with a 6-step online process at an affordable price. The minimalistic design provides a template that partially automates security measures thereby allowing the UNFOLD team to focus on building the foundations of policies and adapting them to the user’s needs. The innovative design of UNFOLD is the golden cut between standardization and customization in the information security industry.

Chiara Pozzoli

Product designer based in Berlin, with an MA in Visual & Experience Design from University of Europe for Applied Sciences and a strong passion for UX. What fascinates her the most is the inspiration behind things, the way art, photography, design and music can perfectly intertwine to make a vision come to life. With her background in fashion, she aims at bringing a fresh point of view in the field of design, based on her understanding of contemporary culture and aesthetics.

Where do you see yourself in 20 years?

I see myself as a fulfilled professional in the UX/UI industry, hopefully able to provide users with products that make their life easier in an ethical and sustainable way.

What is a good design for you?

Contemporary, user-centred, detail-oriented, ethical.

Who or what inspires you?

I find inspiration in the people around me, how they approach products and I try to understand how design can be used as a tool to improve their interaction with them.

How do you approach a new project?

I start from the user. After ideating a first concept, I start with the User Research, to understand if the project can have a positive impact on the users and their lives.

What advice would you give to students who just started studying in your programme?

To challenge yourselves with every new project that is coming your way. Even if your background is not in design, that can be an advantage, because it makes your point of view unique.

Why did you choose to study in your programme?

I wanted to grow as a professional, using my previous background in fashion to evolve as a designer in the UX/UI field.

How are you going to celebrate your graduation?

Sleep, drink and spend time with friends.

Say hi!
