Aphantasie beschreibt einen Zustand, der die Fähigkeit, Bilder vor dem geistigen Auge zu betrachten, beeinträchtigt. Es handelt sich um ein relativ unerforschtes Phänomen, welches keine Behinderung beschreibt, sondern lediglich einen eingeschränkten Denkprozess. Das Buchprojekt AUGMENTED MEMORIES visualisiert auf Grundlage von Aussagen von Betroffenen Themen wie Abwesenheit und menschliche Vielfalt.

Where do you see yourself in 20 years?
I want to have grown within my work. My goal is to stay open-minded and motivated to be the best at everything I’m doing.
What is a good design for you?
As little design as possible.
What was the most challenging experience during your studies?
It was quite hard to always stay motivated and believe in myself. Especially because a lot about design comes down to personal taste.
Who or what inspires you?
Ilona was the human version of inspiration. She is my role model and I am more than thankful that she always supported me during my studies.
How do you approach a new project?
Brainstorm and trust the process!
What advice would you give to students who just started studying in your programme?
Don’t be late.

Hopefully.
Why did you choose to study in your programme?
Because design is my behaviour.
What are you not going to miss in your studies?
Being broke.
How are you going to celebrate your graduation?
Red wine.
