Aija Bane
I am a colourful person who loves to dream and I use these dreams to create something special. I never look back, rather always tend to focus on what's in front of me. My passions are art, design and dance and I try to fuse these three categories together. I always stay true to myself no matter what.
Where do you see yourself in 20 years?
I see myself running my own design studio with people who I can trust and be friends with.
What is a good design for you?
It should be functional and aesthetically pleasing while opening discussions, leaving a positive impact on the world.
What was the most challenging experience during your studies?
Managing work and university at the same time.
Who or what inspires you?
People and the environment around me.
How do you approach a new project?
I approach a new project with a lot of thinking before I start anything at all.
What advice would you give to students who just started studying in your programme?
Listen, watch and don't be afraid to ask questions!
Have you changed during your studies? How?
I think I have become more mature and responsible for my actions and decisions.
Why did you choose to study in your programme?
Because design is fun!
What are you not going to miss in your studies?
I am not going to miss preparations for presentations.
How are you going to celebrate your graduation?
I'm going to go on a holiday in Spain for 2 weeks.
