Frederik Willmann
STRANGE TIMES is an interview series with documentary value by Frederik Willmann, portraying young creatives and their interests in a time of uncertainty. Willmann's project includes the first two pilot episodes of STRANGE TIMES, introducing freelancing artist Ellebasi and Turkish skater Berk. The goal of the format set in Berlin is to portray its protagonists in an authentic way by following strategies closely linked to the documentary movements of the Direct Cinema and the Cinéma Vérité.

What was the most challenging experience during your studies?
Keeping track of my lifes duties basically.
Who or what inspires you?
Mostly I am inspired by people I see on the streets of Berlin every day, nature and animals of all kind inspire me as well.
How do you approach a new project?
When approaching a new project I try considering different options and
ways that would be worth trying out before determining the way I want to work on it.
Have you changed during your studies? How?
I think my ambitions have grown a lot during my studies. You meet so many creatives and discover new art forms, styles and possibilities, it's very motivating!
