Anlässlich ihrer Forschungsergebnisse erstellte Emilia Holstein die App SYNAPPTHESIE.
Durch das App-Design versucht sie anhand simulierter Synästhesie, neue Ansätze zur Kreativitätsförderung von Kindern zu erstellen und diese als Tool brauchbar zu machen.
Against the background of her research, Emilia Holstein created the app SYNAPPTHESIE.
The app design aims to show new ways of supporting creativity in children by simulating synaethesia and turning them into an accessible tool.

Emilia aka Emmi is a 25 year old, born and raised Berliner with lots of confidence, great humor and possibly a bit of arrogance. Her work is often quite colorful with a fresh and sometimes childlike vibe to it.

To always stick up for my work
Who or what inspires you?
Due to Synaethesia I am inspired by everything my senses can take in
How do you approach a new project?
I usually approach a new project with a to-do list and random notes of my thoughts.
What advice would you give to students who just started studying in your programme?
Trust the process and challenge yourself
Have you changed during your studies? How?
I think I have changed in that way that I can be more efficient with transferring the ideas in my head into the physical world and to others.
Why did you choose to study in your programme?
I don't consider myself an artist but a creative, which is why I wanted to learn how to express myself and my ideas more.
What are you not going to miss in your studies?
The constant fear of having missed an important due date.
How are you going to celebrate your graduation?
I want to cheers with all my uni-friends to us having survived it all.
