ORCHID is a tribute to those who have lost their lives as a result of state-sanctioned violence, anti-black racism, and transphobia. Each flower represents a unique and positive aspect of their lives. They were parents, siblings, friends, and lovers- people whose passions and dreams were violently robbed from them. There is no such thing as the perfect victim. All Black lives are worth mourning and fighting for.
