Tlamelo Mogopa's ONOMATYPEIA explores the parallels between sound and letterforms. Music is visual experience and ONOMATYPEIA helps one visualize what cannot be seen. Inspired by the figure of speech "0nomatopoeia", the letters evoke not only the instruments but the audio effects that are automated to each sound, allowing the letters paired with sound to convey emotions and narrate a story.
