A-Part of Homecoming

When does someone label a place as a Home, is it after having spent years living there or rather upon having bought a new sofa and a small plant?

Having moved around the world for most of my life, I have almost  always felt a disconnect with words like, home and especially the question, “Where are you from”

In the series A-Part of Homecoming I decided to explore the question;

Is home a place or a people?

I sought out to answer this question, with the aid of my late grandfathers prosthetic arm as a guiding medium.

After much deliberation, I arrived to the conclusion that home for me is neither a place nor a people but instead the feelings I perceive when I am at a given location with people that give me a sense of belonging, even if it is just temporary.

Staying Committed to the subject

I usually just "go with it" and let my impulses dictate the course of my actions

To question if its really what they want

Absolutely. I grew as a person and matured

It was an interest

Probably my friends
