Fern-Nest

Ratanaz Dehnadi

In Persian, the "Nest" is a metaphor for home. But what does home really mean? Is it just a specific geographical place or much more than that? Is it something that lives among people, something that hides in memories?

FERN-NEST is an abstract film that explores the concept of home, a concept subject to change. This film, which consists of three phases, presents three different worlds. Unlike many conventional films, this one does not follow a narrative but creates an atmosphere. An effort has been made to leave enough room for the viewers' own interpretations.
