(NON) PLACES OF MEMORY is an interactive media installation that creates a playful displacement experience. Th rough the installation, visitors watch themselves projected mirrored on a wall but surrounded by a different place. They perceive the sense of displacement by being situated in another virtual room which is originally located in Egypt. Th rough the installation, visitors are capable of exploring, interacting and navigating in their virtual projected place. Also, the installation presents key points through which visitors can control specific features in their projected virtual room by moving in their physical place. (NoN) Places Of Memory blurs the distance between the physical and the virtual places and opens a conversation between them.
