Matilde Bjelland
With her research paper done on modern propaganda, Matilde aims to create an interactive digital zine designed after the behaviors created due to an overexposure of the modern medias used today to display modern propaganda.
Through her project Ill.24, she invites the observer to explore the world of modern propaganda. With interactive buttons, moving images, sounds, and graphics inspired by the 90s, she keeps the observer engaged and trapped.
Ill.24 displays a wide range of how modern propaganda operates, such as through digital and social medias distracting us from the seriousness of the political landscape, racial biases, and the illusion of choice. With her project she aims to bring awareness and rise questions surrounding modern propaganda.
