Where do you see yourself in 20 years?

My exploration of human connection and the mundane aspects of life will resonate with a global audience, leading to opportunities to showcase my work in prestigious galleries and museums around the world.

What is a good design for you?

A good design, for me, is one that seamlessly blends functionality, aesthetics, and emotional resonance. It is an intricate balance where each element serves a purpose, enhancing the overall experience while maintaining a sense of harmony and beauty.

What was the most challenging experience during your studies?

Moving from India to Berlin added layer of complexity. Adapting to a new culture, language, and academic environment required flexibility and resilience. It was a period of significant personal growth as I navigated these changes while keeping up with my studies.

Who or what inspires you?

My inspiration comes from the beauty of everyday life, the contrast of nature and urban landscapes, the complexity of human emotions, and interactions, and the works of directors like Lynch and Kar-wai. Technological innovations also fuel my creativity, pushing me to explore new artistic frontiers.

What advice would you give to students who just started studying in your programme?

I approach a new project by immersing myself in research and observation, seeking inspiration from everyday life and human experiences. I brainstorm ideas, sketch concepts, and experiment with techniques. Collaboration and feedback are essential, allowing me to refine and develop a cohesive, impactful vision.

Have you changed during your studies? How?

During my studies, I've undergone significant personal and artistic growth.deepened my understanding of artistic expression, and learned to handle critical feedback constructively. Immersion in diverse cultural environments has broadened my perspectives, shaping me into a more adaptable and empathetic artist.

Why did you choose to study in your programme?

I chose to study sound design and photography because they allow me to combine my passions for creativity and storytelling in unique ways. These disciplines offer a means to explore and communicate complex emotions and narratives through both auditory and visual mediums, providing a powerful platform for artistic expression and societal reflection.

What are you not going to miss in your studies?

I won't miss the pressure of deadlines and juggling multiple assignments simultaneously. Also, the occasional creative blocks and the challenge of balancing academic rigor with personal artistic exploration.

How are you going to celebrate your graduation?

I plan to celebrate my graduation by organizing a gathering with close friends and family, perhaps a small party or dinner. It's a moment to reflect on the journey, express gratitude to those who supported me, and look forward to new beginnings in my career.
