In-between

Martina Illarregui

Our immersion in the virtual world gets bigger every day, leaving the natural behind. It is becoming more complicated to understand the division between the physical and the virtual when the rules of both worlds feel equally real. To what extent are we lost amongst the blurred boundaries between real and artificial? Hands and ideas, time and movement, in-between space and place? The installation examines the movement and orientation of the visitor regarding an element in space. The inter-action between space and spectator will be casting interactive shadows, while the conversation between the real space and its virtual representation is feeding back the scene.

Say hi!
