GIRLS AND SELF-REFLECTION is about the relation to and contemplation of different female artists and their artwork, most of them from a Latin American background, who then migrated to different parts of the world. Can we separate the artist from the art they produce? Th e desire to show their work in the environment they create, how their personality is reflected in what they decided to be surrounded with got me in the need to make this series.
