SAFER – THE JOURNEY OF SELF REFLECTION is about people who face and overcome a phase of depression in their life. It consists of numerous people with different problems and how they fight against themselves through photographs. Through the camera lens, the photographer identifies people's vulnerability and portrays their deepest emotions. By taking pictures of people that are in a depression or that have overcome that fight, this project reflects on how different people share the same demons, but how each individual breaks out of it in a different way.
Durvesh Jogal
Durvesh Jogal was born in Mumbai in February 1993. Mumbai is a city known for its fast pace and chaos, that ultimately led him to take pleasure in the antithesis of chaos. Most of his images are taken in real-life situations with an unadulterated approach and appreciation for simple things, enabling him to look at them in a different light than others and to give them a new perspective. As a photographer, Durvesh’s work navigates the simple subjects in an artistic way, which you would have never thought of. The camera is his medium to illustrate perspectives.

Don't procrastinate on your assignments ... do the work before time.

One of the best, if not the best I know. I can totally relate to title here 'Safar' the name has it all, the journey from who we are to what we want to be is the basic motto of our life with very few people admiring the fact. I might be less qualified to talk about the photos here but the impact and the story that they tell speaks alot louder. All the very best for your future and dreams. Truly motivating and inspiring.
