Sondos Dahrog
Persuasive design is a powerful tool that can be found everywhere in advertisement. It changes how and what we think and do, causing us to keep buying digital entertainment products and subscriptions with more content than we are able to experience during our lifetimes. To juxtapose this development, Sondos Dahrog's project uses the same persuasive design techniques to sell a kit of items that are meant to induce sleep paralysis, selling the experience of the sleeping disorder as desirable.

My story began after I graduated from High School in 2014. In search for a fitting university, I googled and took tests to figure out what gets me inspired and where my studies could take me. I found my passion in shapes, colors and design, the adobe programs and digital design so there was no way past getting a degree in Communication Design. I'm really happy that I've completely found myself in this field!
Where do you see yourself in 20 years?
Maybe as a Senior Art Director.
Who or what inspires you?
I have lived in 5 different cities: Cairo, Kuwait, Weimar, Leipzig and Hamburg. All of them have inspired me.
Have you changed during your studies? How?
Of course! I have gotten a lot more patient and creative!
What are you not going to miss in your studies?
To wake up early.
How are you going to celebrate your graduation?
I will celebrate my graduation with my man and my friends till I go to my family in Cairo.
