SHAPING A WORD through texture and light is a method of exploring letterforms in a unique way that differentiates them from the experience of typography as a consumer-driven design element. The experiments in the book explore how photography can be used to change our perception of type, in the hope of giving the reader a deeper experience of letters and typography overall.
