An Dúlra (Nature)

Eoin O’Connor

NATURE. No matter where we are at any given moment in this world, it is always present. Throughout human history, it has been one of our greatest companions but often, we have taken advantage of this relationship for our own personal human gains. Civilisation has and continues to ride roughshod over nature to fulfill the structural needs and wants of our society.

These buildings are made to last years or sometimes even centuries, which some have, however, more often than not, these concrete carcass’ are left to rot as look to build our next short-term solution. It is in these moments when nature intertwines
and weaves itself through these creations to finally reclaim the land which has beentaken from it.

This photographic series highlights both the subtitle and extreme process of this
while showing the vastness of the natural world around us.
