At Home Among Strangers

Alexander Tselmin

This project resulted out of a desire to provide voice to the marginalized. Trying to explore and understand the life of a person with Asperger’s syndrome, the author spent over two years working with and photographing them. Using direct self-representation and visual comparisons within the unembellished imagery, the work sheds light onto life and peculiarities of a creative person on the autism spectrum.
