RITZ IMPERIAL is a fictional grand hotel presented by Giulia Roncari. Starting from the work of Wes Anderson, the Ritz Imperial shows its identity in 1930s England.
Thanks to graphic props designed and produced as close to this scenario as possible, this project shows the identity of the grand hotel.
I am an Italian graphic designer based in Berlin. Thanks to design, I have been able to combine several passions of mine like film and art. During my studies I managed to try new techniques and develop my skills.
Hard to say, but I hope to be working as a Graphic Designer in the Film Industry. Working in a design agency is also an aspiration of mine.
Good design is design that is straight to the point, that does not need further explanation. This does not mean that a design has to be simple, it just has to be easy to understand.
The most challenging experience was probably learning to use certain programs and starting to work. I was not very familiar with some technicalities of my job.
Everything can be a source of inspiration, it always depends on the way you look at things. I believe that anything can be interpreted in different ways.
I usually begin with the research. Then, I search for inspiration and try to gather a better feeling of my subject.
I would suggest to try out as many programs and techniques as possible. Do not be afraid of making mistakes.
Yes! My way of thinking changed a lot. I learned to see things from different views. I learned how to communicate with clients.
I don't really know why, I have always been a very conceptual person. Design is the way I can express my ideas in the best way.
I am not going to miss the schedule, it was quite intense.
I will celebrate it with my friends & family.
